I have a sore throat.

  • Drink cool fluids.
  • Gargle with salt water.
  • Suck on lozenges.

If your sore throat is accompanied by a runny/stuffy nose, ear and sinus congestion and cough, you more than likely have a viral infection. Treatment is to treat the symptoms with tylenol or advil, cough medicine and a decongestant. Classic symptoms of a strep throat include fever, headache, sore throat and swollen glands. Call Student Health Services for evaluation.
