If you experienced a loss of consciousness, call Student Health Services. If this occurs after hours, call Public Safety at extension 5111 and if off-campus, call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room. If there was no loss of consciousness, rest quietly and apply ice to the affected area. Take two Tylenol or two Advil every 4 to 6 hours. Take no alcohol for at least 24 hours after the injury. Call Student Health Services if you develop any change in level of consciousness, nausea or vomiting, weakness, change in vision, or if one pupil becomes larger than the other or if you have difficulty staying awake.
