The following information is offered as a general guideline for the self-care treatment of common illness and injuries. Please call Student Health Services or the after-hour physician if at any time you are concerned about your health or safety or the health and safety of another. Remember, help is always only a phone call away.
What do I do if...
- ...I have nausea and vomiting.
- ...I have a fever.
- ...I have a headache.
- ...I have a sore throat.
- ...I think I might have mononucleosis.
- ...I have a nosebleed.
- ...I hit my head.
- ...I need to get a prescription filled.
- ...I have pain and/or redness in my eyes.
- ...I have pain and/or blood when I urinate.
- ...I have sores, bumps, or discharge in the genital area.
- ...My period is late.
- ...I'm always tired and cry a lot. ...I feel sad and hopeless.
- ...I burned myself.
- ...I'm constipated.
- ...is it just a pimple or is it a staph infection??
- ...I have diarrhea.
- ...I cut myself.
- ...I think my roommate/friend may have an eating disorder
- ...My roommate/friend is drunk. Should I let them sleep it off?
