I have pain and/or blood when I urinate.

Pain when you urinate or blood in your urine can be signs of a urinary tract infection, commonly referred to as a "UTI" or "bladder infection". Most urinary tract infections will need to be treated with antibiotics and if you have these symptoms, you need to see a health care provider.  You should NEVER use antibiotics that might be left over or from a friend.  It is important to be checked so that if you do need medicine, you are put on the right one.  If you have these symptoms, start to drink more fluids and call Student Health Services to be seen.
